3,484 incidents were recorded at the Special Tourism Support Police Station (Deat), which only receives records of crimes against tourists from outside the country.

The neighborhood with the most records is in the South Zone: Copacabana is the location of one in three (1,069) crimes that had foreign tourists as victims. In second place comes Ipanema, with 517 occurrences, followed by Centro (335), Barra da Tijuca (88) and Leme (79 cases).
